About This Spot

Stepping into Love Pho 2 on George Dieter Drive, you’re welcomed by a relaxed and thoughtfully modern space where moments feel unhurried and genuine. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot that invites you to slow down, whether you’re squeezing in a solo meal or sharing a casual conversation with friends. A tranquil koi fish pond near the entrance adds a gentle rhythm to the room, complementing the soft hum of easygoing chatter and the warm care from attentive staff.

Here, the heart of the experience lies in the time-honored patience behind their bowls of pho. The broth, simmered slowly for hours, carries a depth that quietly speaks of tradition and craft, enhanced by fresh herbs that lend a unique, fragrant nuance. The menu doesn’t shout for attention; instead, it thoughtfully presents familiar comforts like brisket, chicken pho, and subtly adventurous treats that invite lingering—Vietnamese iced coffees balance the flavors with their rich bitterness, while desserts such as mango sticky rice or durian pia cake offer a sweet close with a little surprise.

This is a place where the atmosphere reflects a sense of calm hospitality, both in the pace of service and the flow of flavors. You might find yourself appreciating the gentle warmth of the staff’s care—the kind that makes you feel noticed without interruption. Whether it’s a hearty bowl that comforts you or the quiet curiosity sparked by a uniquely local dessert, Love Pho 2 offers a wholehearted, welcoming space to explore the everyday joys of Vietnamese cuisine in El Paso.

Very nice restaurant. The owner would be attentive to his customers and so were the waiters. The pho is delicious and the portions are excellent for the prices. I recommend getting the brisket or chicken pho and for dessert, the mango sticky rice!

The vibes and atmosphere of the restaurant is super chill and welcoming. The service was absolutely perfect and the food was incredible. I got the chicken pho and mango sticky rice for dessert and both blew my mind away. Highly recommend coming here, 10/10.

I went there alone and it was pretty nice. The inside is very modern, I liked the koi fish pond. The food came out pretty fast, I ordered the vermicelli noodles with pork and an egg roll. The egg roll was very small, but oh well. Also I think charging $3.50 for a drink with no refills is wild so order the water instead. The Sriracha tasted fake like they had refilled it with a different sauce similar to Sriracha. But it was not Sriracha. The pork didn't have any seasonings. It was very dry and flavorless. For just me, I paid $23 so pretty expensive. Honestly for this price, I would rather go to Pho tre bien where I can get the same thing for the same price and it would taste even better. I probably could have even gotten a boba at Pho Tre Bien with the amount I paid at this restaurant for a small cup (mostly filled with ice) of Gatorade. Overall it was fine, but I won't be returning.

Absolutely amazing! Flavor of the broth very tasteful! The basil gives the broth a very enique taste! Very good experience all around! I tried the chicken feet...not bad at all!

Amazing! First time trying! I have had Pho all over town, and I must say the flavor of the broth.....very FLAVORFUL! had a chance to speak with the owner, and he stated of the broth every day being simmered for at least 8 hours... and when I say you can taste it... you really can! He explained using fresh basil leaves that give a different unique flavor to the dish! I also ordered the pork belly spring roll.....really good with a fresh flavor....the peanut butter cream sauce had an unique flavor...it had fried onions within the sauce! WOW! Gave it a flavor without the flavor of the onion being overwhelming! For the main dish..I ordered the rare steak and brisket...meat very tender! If in the area and you enjoy Vietnamese cuisine....give this establishment a must try! Last note: dessert....very FLAVORFUL...stick rice in a coconut creamy sauce topped with frozen mango! Perfect sweetness! customer service...top notch! GREAT JOB!

We stopped in with the intention to grab take out but they quickly convinced us to dine in. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, egg rolls and rare beef & brisket pho bowls. Everything was delicious and I am so happy to have found an authentic pho place! My son especially loved watching the fishes and after saying they were hungry the owner let my son feed the fish! What a lovely family friendly establishment. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. We will be back regularly!
